Oof, still not back up to speed after the flu.  I forgot to clearly say
this:  The message about Ojibway elements in CJ that I just forwarded is
from Anthony Grant, to whom many thanks are due for his illuminating
remarks.

Thompson River CJ?  I'll be running to my Thompson River Salish dictionary,
but am tantalized by the prospect of learning other source materials...
