<Cultus>, like most CJ words, has a goodly range of senses.

For my own purposes, I've found that "nothing more than that" captures most of those senses.

To invent a couple examples in _Kamloops Wawa_ spelling:

<kaltas naika tiki makmak> = "I just want to eat" -- nothing more than that.  Notice the typical CJ placement of an adverb at the very start of the sentence.

<(iht) kaltas patlach> = "a gift" -- something that's only given, i.e. without obligating the recipient to outdo my generosity!

<kaltas maika kopa naika> = "you're as nothing to me" / "you're worthless to me" -- it's understood that you're not being compared to anything, you're "just nothing".  Notice here the typical CJ word order, where <kaltas maika> = "you're worthless".

Tlus naika klatwa alta.
