I'm not sure if this has been posted to the list before; it hasn't been
since I've been a subcriber so I'll hazard it.

As we're discussing Chinook college cheers (I know the UBC one was
posted a year or two ago) this is from
the "Victoria College [now University of Victoria] Student Handbook,
1928-29" (available online at http://collections.ic.gc.ca):

        Kla-how-yah (name)

As a British Columbian student in exile, most of my own college's cheers
are in bastardised Latin or Greek...
