This sounds very familiar to me, so i looked up Melville Jacobs 1931
"Northwest Sahaptin Grammar" and came up with the following:
kwEEta-thlam-ma...?
travel.on-person.who-DISTRIBUTIVE.PLURAL...-?
"travelers"...?
[kwEEta-] 'travel on' where [-EE-] is a "mid front wide" vowel
[thlam-] 'person who' where [-thl-] is a lateral fricative
[ma-] is a DIST.PL
...at least for the first part of the main stem this is what is
available. the ending suffix of this word is less familiar, that is,
[-nimin].
