Towhee?

An acquaintance has asked if I am familiar with a Chinook term for the
Spotted Towhee (formerly the Rufous Sided Towhee...) -- he is interested in
ethno-ornithology and says he is unable to find native names for this
particular bird. Can anyone on this List help? (An elderly friend, former
gyppo logger, says he has always known them as "swamp robins"...)
