The closest anyone's come to a thorough and systematic treatment of these matters may be Zvjezdana Vrzic in her 1999 NYU PhD thesis, or Henry Zenk in his. It remains, however, for somebody to publish a study focused on the mechanisms at work in CJ compound verbs, i.e. a truly descriptive grammar of the Jargon.
