I've seen three words that are sort of like lu'lu
Lolo (is it also spelled Lulu?)= portage or carry
Lolo = Laurant
Lu'lu (or Lowalo) = circle.
But I don't know which one is for Lulu Island.

I presume than that the name for the island Richmond BC sits on comes
from the Chinook word lu'lu (Lulu island) Can anyone confirm this
and explain why? The name for the island is rarely used as the
city of Richmond takes up most of the island.
