Hi Phil,
paastad from Little Boston Clallam is a term for American or Boston
chabid for German may be a Makah-ization from Neah Bay
shoyop (?) from Warm Spring for White person
soyaapo from Neemeepoo for same.  This may refer to fact the Whites first
encountered wore hats (chapeau).  Just a guess.
