CJ letter from Barman

I've noticed and letter uses a word "Chaw" which looks like it's in place of
chahgo. The letter mentions New West which I'm assuming is in the Fraser
Valley. Boas' collection of CJ songs from New West translated "Dza" to mean
"come on". Was this a Fraser Valley abbreviation for Chahgo? If it is it's
very convenient for the passive.

Klahowya Tillicums and Bostons,
I have received this letter from Jean Barman at UBC. She is requesting a
translation. The letter looks fairly easy to translate. Please return your
translations to me. The letter is at; http://kalapuya.com/ChinookJargon.htm
Thanks,
David Lewis
