This is from an undated (1892?) letter asking Father Le Jeune to tell what 
the original language of humans was, before the tower of Babel incident.

"Pus Shinuk, pus Wait man wawa, Shana man wawa, pus Sawash wawa."
"Whether it was Chinook, or White man's talk, Chinese or an Indian 
language."
