I have no copy of my posting on 'lebine'. Basically I
said that although I cannot think of any word matching
'lebine' in standard French, my NTC dictionary of
Canadian French has 'les binnes' for 'beans with
pork'. But now I think we have here a mere anglicism
of 'beans'.
