The word class tags for progressive forms of verbs in the BNC are:
<w VBG> for 'being';
<w VDG> for 'doing';
<w VHG> for 'having';
<w VVG> for '-ing' of other verbs.

Alternatively, you might want to use the wildcard function of, say, 
WordSmith Tools or MonoConc (Pro) to find all words ending in 'ing' (by 
searching for *ing), which will of course require some additional manual 
screening in order to exclude words such as 'bring' and 'ring' (the noun) 
from consideration.
