The Third North American Symposium on Corpus Linguistics and Language
Teaching

 Sponsored by the American Association for Applied Corpus Linguistics

Keynote speakers:

Doug Biber, Northern Arizona University
Susan Hockey, University College London

Call for Papers: The purpose of the conference is to bring together
individuals in North America and elsewhere doing research in corpus
linguistics. Appropriate topics for presentations include (but are not
limited to):

-the use of corpora in language learning and teaching
-linguistic analyses of corpora
-corpus creation
-corpus annotation
-parallel corpora
-lexicography
-register/genre variation
-tagging/parsing
-concordancing
-software development

Presentations will be 20 minutes in length followed by 10 minutes of
questions/answers. If you are interested in presenting a paper, please
send:

1) an abstract (250 words maximum)
2) your snail mail address, phone number, and e-mail address
3) a description of any software or hardware you will need
