   RECENT ADVANCES IN NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING (RANLP'2003)


                      10-12 September 2003
                        Borovetz, Bulgaria


                     (Preliminary announcement)


   The RANLP (Recent Advances in Natural Language Processing) conference series
   has emerged as one of the most competitive events in Natural Language
   Processing. High quality papers, outstanding keynote presentations and
   excellent pre-conference tutorials are characteristic of RANLP.
   Further to the successful 1st (1995), 2nd(1997)and 3rd(2001)
   RANLP conferences, we are pleased to announce the fourth RANLP conference
   to be held in 2003. Following the tradition, the conference will take
the
   form of addresses from invited keynote speakers plus individual papers.

TUTORIALS


   RANLP-2003 will be preceded by 3 days of tutorials (7-9 September 2003).


LOCATION


   The conference will be held from the popular Rila mountain resort of
   Borovetz.


FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS


   The first CFP, to be distributed in February 2003, will list the
   keynote and tutorial speakers, Programme Committee members and
   the submission deadlines.


ACCOMPANYING EVENTS

   RANLP-2003 will be accompanied by the International Workshop
   "Information Extraction for Slavonic Languages and other languages
   of Central and Eastern Europe", to be held in Borovetz as well.
