This first workshop aims at fostering the interaction between researchers in
different text processing areas (information retrieval, natural language
processing...), and experts from medicine and molecular biology (genomics,
proteomics...). It is a unique opportunity to have a synthetic view on the
research in these topics.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS

A number of grants to assist students attending the colloquium are available
and will be awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis. Priority will be
given to students presenting papers. Proof of student status will be
