Dear list members,
a few weeks ago, an announcement was made on the Linguist mailing
list that BNCweb, our web-based interface to the British National
Corpus, is available for review. I have in the meantime been informed
by Terry Langendoen, the book and software review editor for the
Linguist List, that none of the respondents had access to the BNC
World Edition - which is a requirement for the use of BNCweb. He has
now agreed to my suggestion that I post a call to the Corpora List,
where I believe the likelihood of finding BNC users is somewhat
higher than average. ;-)

The text of the original call
(http://linguistlist.org/issues/13/13-1822.html) was as follows:

Further information about BNCweb can be found at
http://homepage.mac.com/bncweb/.

If you are interested in reviewing BNCweb, please respond to Terry
Langendoen directly with the information he requested. It is not a
requirement to be a subscriber to the Linguist List.

Regards,
Sebastian Hoffmann
