How can dictionaries help human & machine learning?

PRESENTATION TYPES
Presentations may be one of the following types: papers,
posters, symposiums.
Papers
The time allotted for each paper presentation is 30 minutes
(i.e. 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for
discussion).
Posters
A poster session will be held at the conference. Details
such as the size and format of poster stands will be
announced later.
Symposiums
The time slot for the symposium is 100 minutes (e.g. 4-5
short papers plus discussion).
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
Participants should submit an abstract of 300 words for a
paper presentation or the poster session. As for the
symposiums, the organizer should submit an abstract of 600
words. The abstracts should be sent to:
admin at asialex.org
Please note that we accept email submissions only. Only
those proposals which follow the abstract specifications
will be considered.
In submitting your proposal, please include the following:
your name(s), paper [poster, symposiums] title,
institutional affiliation(s), complete mailing and email
addresses, phone and fax numbers.
Abstracts should be written in English in plain text and be
included in the mail-body. Do not send your abstract in an
attached file.
Please make the title of your email as follows:
"Your last name, first name initial: first 5 words of your title"
(e.g. "Tono, Y: Using electronic dictionaries for ELT")
If you have multiple authors, indicate the first one only with "et al".
The deadline for abstract submission is January 31, 2003.
Those accepted will be notified by February 28, 2003. Those
not accepted will be notified by the same date as well.
IMPORTANT DATES
January 31, 2003: Deadline for abstract submission
February 28, 2003: Notification of abstract acceptance
April 30, 2003: Deadline for early registration
May 31, 2003: Deadline for camera-ready papers
July 31, 2003: Deadline for final registration
