This email is an invitation to join a new specialist online community and mailing list for all those interested in sentiment and affect in text as it pertains to AI, extraction, understanding, and generation.

The aim of the community is to facilitate communication and discussion between the diverse members of this field, as well as to provide a central repository for announcements and reference material. It will not to be used for any overt commercial interests.

The community Web pages currently contain links to many research papers in the field, as well as to other useful resources. In addition, they are soon due to contain some annotated testing material for sentiment. With everyone's help we can keep growing this as a useful resource for all.
