Dear Corpora members, thank you so much for your answers about devoicing at the end of the word in your own native languages. Could you tell me if I can see and get some texts in your native language. Is there a web-site for some writers or poets? Or at least some newspaper web-sites? Summing up all your answers it looks that all Slavonic languages have the devoicing of the voiced consonants like b, d, g at the end of the word. Thus, "b, d, g" turn into "p, t, k". It is interesting to find out that some Ukrainians agree that there is devoicing at the end of the word, while other Ukrainians disagree. They do not devoice their b, d, g. I'm looking forward to hearing from you to yutamb at hotmail.com Remain yours most sincerely and gratefully Yuri Tambovtsev
