The Corpus Linguistics Special Interest Group of the British Association
of Applied Linguistics and the Oxford Text Archive are holding a one-day
workshop on "Identifying and Researching Multi-Word Units" on Thursday
21st April 2005 at Oxford University Computing Services, 10.00-17.00.
The purpose of the workshop is to explore in detail various
methodologies involved in identifying multi-word units in corpora of
natural language. Further details of the workshop (programme and

You can register for the workshop at the
http://ota.ahds.ac.uk/cgi-bin/baal/regform.pl. Please register for the
event by 18 April at the latest - there is a cap on numbers and we also
need to know numbers for catering. The registration fee is 35 pounds for
BAAL members, 45 pounds for non-members.
