Dear Colleagues,

This is just a reminder that the deadline for submitting abstracts for
EUROCALL 2005 in Cracow, Poland, is 31 January 2005.  The Call for papers is
available at:

As in EUROCALL 2004 in Vienna, there will be a strand of papers on corpora
and language learning and teaching at the conference in Cracow. Selected
papers from the Conference will be published in ReCALL Journal, Vol 18, in
May 2006. 

An account of the papers in the corpus strand in EUROCALL 2004 in Vienna is

A Special Interest Group on corpora has also been created within EUROCALL.
Information on the SIG, which hopes to develop links with the BAAL SIG, is
available in two recent articles in the EUROCALL Newsletter. (On the
EUROCALL website, <http://www.eurocall-languages.org/>, follow the link to
NEWS. The articles on the corpus SIG are in numbers 5 and 6.
