This post is available from 1st September 2005 for 3 years in the first instance, with an option to extend to 5 years. Candidates must have a PhD in corpus linguistics or an area related to corpus linguistics, be research-active with a relevant publication record, and have an interest in pursuing corpus based investigations in the structure and use of language. You must be prepared to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise M.A. and Ph.D students and play a leading role in fostering corpus based research within the university. Expertise in non-English based corpus linguistics or willingness to develop such expertise is highly desirable.
