It is our pleasure to announce that the sixteenth CLIN meeting
will be hosted by the Faculties of Science and Humanities at the
University of Amsterdam. As usual, the language of the
conference will be English.
INVITED SPEAKERS
- Edward Hovy (University of Southern California)
- Hermann Ney (Aachen University (RWTH))
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Researchers are invited to present work on all aspects of
computational linguistics, natural language processing and
related language and speech technologies.
Authors interested in presenting their work should submit an
abstract in English. The abstract should contain:
- a title
- author name, address, affiliation, and email address
- a short outline of the paper (10-20 lines)

IMPORTANT DATES
- Deadline for abstract submission: November 4, 2005
- Notification of acceptance: November 12, 2005
- Conference: December 16, 2005

The local organization committee of this year's meeting consists
of Maarten de Rijke, Remko Scha, Khalil Sima'an and Rob van Son.

CLIN PROCEEDINGS
A volume with proceedings of the fifteenth CLIN meeting (held in
2004, in Leiden) will be available at this year's meeting. We
intend to produce a volume of the proceedings of CLIN 2005 before
CLIN 2006. Papers for these proceedings will have to be written
in English; they will be reviewed by a committee to be appointed
in due time.
