CACI's Document and Record Management Division is seeking applicants to

and document categorization and clustering. This work uses both English

data, e.g., OCR and ASR output.
Selected candidates will work on the full range of research and
development activities, including problem analysis, literature search,
software and database design, development of prototypes and production
software, experimentation, testing, tool/product evaluation and
benchmarking, reporting, and publishing. Senior level researchers will
also supervise others on projects.
Applicants should have some background in one or more areas of NLP or IR.
Applicants should have one or more degrees in linguistics, computer
science, mathematics, or a related field; they should have familiarity
with linear algebra, statistics and data graphing, and competence with
programming in C/C++, Java, or other high-level languages. Knowledge of
relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL) and sed, awk, Perl and similar tools is
helpful. Applicants should be able and willing to learn new programming
languages and tools.
The group is located in Lanham, Maryland, close to Washington DC in the
U.S. CACI offers an attractive salary and benefits package with

government security clearance, or willingness to obtain one, is helpful.
