Description:

The department of Networks and Computer Science at ENST Paris (www.enst.fr) is
offering a position for a post-doc for a duration of at most 24 months. The
applicant will be involved in various EU funded projects related to speech
recognition and text mining. Research areas include the adaptation of
statistical language models and the retrieval and extraction of information in
multimedia documents. The applicant is also expected to contribute to the
European Network of Excellence K-Space (http://kspace.qmul.net/).

This position is located in Paris, France and should be filled as soon as
possible. Deadline for applications: 01/06/2006. Salary is approx. 2,000
euros/month (net), to be discussed depending on the applicant's
qualifications.

Qualification:

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in computer science or
electrical engineering, with emphasis in text mining or a related topic.
Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of natural language and
speech processing and of machine learning techniques. Knowledge of French is a
plus.
