Gloria,
	Sketch Engine will provide lists to a great range of specifications,
though currently all in html so you would need a short script to convert
them; we'll be adding plain-text and XML "save as" options shortly

Corpora now loaded and searchable for:
	Chinese English French German Italian Portuguese Slovene Spanish

You can self-register for a free trial; you can then search these corpus,
upload and install your own corpus, and use the WebBootCaT tool to create an
instant corpus from the web

I am looking for a BNC word list in a format which can be read with
Wordsmith
tools 3. Do you know if I can find such a word list or how can I create
one? 

Does sketch engine allow the creation of such a list?
