This is to let you know that the PRELIMINARY programme for the international
conference on "Exploring the Lexis-Grammar Interface" (ELeGI), 5-7 October
2006, University of Hanover, Germany is now available on the conference
website at http://www.elegi-2006.com/elegi_programme.htm. 
 
The programme consists of parallel presentations and the following keynote
lectures: 

Professor Sylviane Granger (University of Louvain, Belgium):
"Lexico-grammatical patterns of EAP verbs: How do learners cope?"

Professor Michael Hoey (University of Liverpool, UK): "Corpus-driven
approaches to grammar: A search for common ground" 

Professor Susan Hunston (University of Birmingham, UK): "Starting with the
small words: Patterns, lexis and semantic sequences"

Professor Joybrato Mukherjee (University of Giessen, Germany): "Structural
nativisation at the lexis-grammar interface in New Englishes"

Professor Michael Stubbs (University of Trier, Germany): "Technology and
phraseology: With some notes on the history of corpus linguistics"
