Thank you for your interest in KWiCFinder, my keyword in context web
concordancer. It has recently been updated to support the increasingly
popular UTF-8 encoding format, to eliminate a number of bugs and to
integrate it with forthcoming web corpus tools.
The hosting company for http://miniappolis.com has shifted things around
several times this year, so access to the site has been spotty, and my
e-mail accounts there have been overwhelmed by spam. My main site,
http://kwicfinder.com, is more reliable and will ultimately replace the
former.
If you have problems downloading KWiCFinder, please e-mail me at
fletcher at kwicfinder.com
Put "KWiCFinder" on the subject line so it doesn't get deleted by spam
filters.
Regards,
Bill Fletcher
BTW, the Japanese software of the same name is not related.

Subject: [Corpora-List] A short introduction and request for information
Hello everybody
Allow me to introduce myself: Danilo Nogueira, 63, Brazilian, full-time
professional financial translator since 1970. No academic background or
affiliation worthy of notice. Author of a couple short technical glossaries.
The question:
Can anyone inform me of the present abode of KWICFinder? Downloads from
http://miniappolis.com/KWiCFinder/KWiCFinderHome.html no longer work and all
I could find in the web is Japanese-interface version.
I found a reference to the program in a book published in Brazil, wrote a
message to the author of the book, but it seems that nobody knows how I can
lay my hands on the installer file.
Thanks for your attention and any help you can give.
