Well, automatic semantic role analysis is currently a very active
field, but there are not that many available systems around yet, and I
don't know if any of them is in Java. Anyway, here's the systems I am
aware of:
- Sameer Pradhan's ASSERT system (http://oak.colorado.edu/assert/),
- Mihai Surdeanu's software
(http://www.lsi.upc.edu/~surdeanu/software.html), which is written in
C++,
- the Shalmaneser system by Sebastian Pado and me
(http://www.coli.uni-saarland.de/projects/salsa/shal/), which is
written in Ruby.
I hope this helps :-)
Best,
Katrin Erk
