[Corpora-List] Obtaining wordlists by word-class using Wordsmith Tools

Have a look at http://www.comp.lancs.ac.uk/ucrel/bncfreq/ where you can obtain frequency lists for the whole BNC by major word class. See chapter 5 in the frequency lists page.

Subject: [Corpora-List] Obtaining wordlists by word-class using Wordsmith Tools

 

Dear colleagues of Corpora-List:

I am a PhD student studying word-formation by means of the BNC Sampler and Wordsmith Tools 4.0. 

I need to obtain wordlists from this corpus for each of the major word-classes, but I am unable to do so. I have consulted the Wordsmith Tools manual, but I have not managed to work it out. Would anyone in the list familiar with this software be so kind to indicate me how I could do this? Any reference to webpages is welcome.
