Data and Resources Development Manager	   

Dictionaries, Academic Division, Oxford University Press	   

An exciting opportunity to join the team involved in developing and
shaping our electronic and online dictionary assets across monolingual
and bilingual dictionaries. Responsibilities include corpus
development, extension of datasets and metadata, lexicographic text
processing, and preparation of data for electronic publication, for
purposes ranging across online publishing, NLP data mining, external
licensing, and dictionary editing.

Candidates should have experience of working with structured
dictionary texts and excellent text processing skills, and will
ideally have a background in corpus, computational linguistics, or
lexicography. Expertise in the following will be an advantage:

 * Perl
 * XSLT
 * Automated parsing/tagging
 * languages other than English
