Brief Project Description
AUTOLEARN aims at adapting and evaluating courses for autonomous
learning of
foreign languages. AUTOLEARN faces this challenge by introducing innovative
computerised monitoring of the learners' progress, through natural language
processing and artificial intelligence tools that analyse the learners'
productions. AUTOLEARN courses, once evaluated, will integrate a
communicative
approach to language learning with automated assessment technologies, thus
constituting the basis for a new approach to language learning services.
Before applying, candidates should consult the forerunner to
AUTOLEARN, namely ALLES (http://alles.atosorigin.es/ ) as well as the
local AUTOLEARN website at http://www.autolearn.upf.edu where a more
complete project description may be found and where the announcement
of the closing of applications will be posted.
Apply by email and include a CV stating relevant qualifications and
experience plus
two references, to Gemma Muiños (gemma.muinos at barcelonamedia.org
<mailto:gemma.muinos at barcelonamedia.org>).
Application Deadline: Open until filled.
