That raises an interesting question:

 > Friedrich Dürrenmatt's novella "Der Auftrag" consists of 24
 > sentences. The original German edition (Diogenes Verlag,
 > Zürich 1986) has 133 pages.

That's an average of almost 6 pages per sentence.

Do any of those 24 sentences take advantage of the potential
of German syntax to postpone any verb more than one page later
than the subject?
