[Corpora-List] Job vacancy: Postdoc researcher in Department of Computer Science, National University of Singapore

I am looking for one postdoc researcher to work on the following topics:

- Classifying web sites and web pages into a hierarchy of pre-defined
classes
- Identifying and classifying expressions in text that denote time and
location (including named entity recognition)
- Identifying events in text and situating them on a timeline

This position is available immediately for a one year period, with
possible extension for another one or two years. The candidate will join
at the rank of Research Fellow, at a starting monthly salary of around
S$5,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
 
The candidate should have a PhD in computer science or a related
discipline, with prior research experience and publications in
information retrieval or natural language processing.  Strong
programming skills and good command of English (both spoken and written)
are required. Expertise in machine learning is valuable.
