A good English translation of "The Autumn of the Patriarch" should beat
that one by far.
I had come across one sentence in the English translation of
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that was at
least one and a half pages long.

Hi,
Does anyone have the information about the maximum English
sentence lengths in the main genres, such as news reports, academic
writings, speeches etc, ideally with publication references?
With best regards
