Dear Chris,

All transcripts of the 152 speech events included in the Michigan Corpus of
Academic Spoken English (MICASE) have been coded for a number of pragmatic
features that have pedagogical potential (28 features altogether, including
disagreement, sarcasm, positive/negative evaluation). While the coded
version of the corpus is not publicly available, you find a chapter on the
pragmatic coding and a table summarizing the coding results in the MICASE
Handbook (Rita C. Simpson-Vlach & Sheryl Leicher, 2006, Ann Arbor, MI: The
University of Michigan Press), see

Best wishes... Ute

Dear all,

I'm looking for information on

- pragmatically annotated corpora and

- corpus linguistic research projects (ongoing or completed) on pragmatic
phenomena

Thanks in advance for your help.

Chris
