You might be interested for instance in the chapter "How people really  
speak" in my book "The 'language instinct' debate", which argues that  
decades of argumentation about innate knowledge of language are based  
on intuitions about what people do and don't say that turn out to be  
just wrong when one looks at corpus evidence.
