Thank you. It sounds interesting! If only one could attend all the interesting conferences, but the US is just that bit out of reach of your average travel budgetee - at least me, and at the moment!
I hope you are well and happy. Are you commuting to see your boyfriend - didn't he go off to the outer wastes somewhere? Or did you replace him with somebody more accessible?! 
I am exhausted as Acting Head of School. I hope we appoint soon. I have lost a year of research.
