corpus linguists: 
 
The Historical Thesaurus of English project at Glasgow University
presents the vocabulary of English from Old English to the present
arranged in semantic categories. It will be published in two volumes as
the Historical Thesaurus of the OED by Oxford University Press on
October 22, 2009. Further details (including a special introductory
