[Corpora-List] Cleaning spoken data

I need to edit and resave  some recordings, mainly to eliminate the noise
(not
so much of it tough) and to improve the intensity of the speaker's voice. Can
anyone recommend some freeware, shareware or reasonably priced software?
You can directly email me and I can summarize to the list...
