UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND CLIP LAB SEEKS POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER

The Computational Linguistics and Information Processing Laboratory atthe
University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies
 (CLIP at UMIACS) is seeking an energetic postdoctoral researcher innatural
language processing for projects focused on sentiment modeling
in multiple languages.  These projects bring together researchers at the
intersection of modeling/machine learning, computational linguistics, and
the social sciences.  Candidates will have a strong track record
of successful implementation and productive research in sentiment
analysis, multilingual text analysis, and/or machine learning.
Facility with Arabic and/or Chinese would be a plus, as would experience
with large scale text processing using "cloud computing" approaches, e.g.
MapReduce.
