[Corpora-List] Affect and Sentiment Extraction - 4 Positions at Trinity College, Dublin

Dear Corpora Listers
We are seeking three talented and dynamic people to work with Trinity
College and Treocht Ltd to create a system for monitoring, evaluating and
predicting the behaviour of financial markets. The innovative aspect of
the project will be to build a system for computing affect, including
sentiment, automatically from text and speech. The system will facilitate
the construction of financial models that will integrate affect
information with financial data like prices and volumes of stocks and
commodities. There is also a studentship associated with this project.

The positions are supported by Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government
agency which promotes innovation based on university research, and Treocht
Ltd., a high-technology, high potential start-up company formed by

entrepreneurs to build an integrated affect analysis system. Trinity
