[Corpora-List] Corpus evaluation techniques

Hi all.
I'm starting my work on evaluation of the morphological annotation 
scheme as it applies to a Russian corpus. So, I'm looking for any 
pointers to methods and techniques (statistical, but not limited to) 
that make it easier to detect errors and to evaluate the marking accuracy.
Any help will be deeply appreciated!
