1. Postgraduate Conference: Thursday 24th June
An opportunity for postgraduates to share their research, and to receive feedback on it, in a friendly and supportive environment. The Conference is followed by the Aston Corpus Symposium on Friday 25 June, allowing postgraduates to stay on and attend presentations by more established corpus researchers.

2nd Call For Papers:
Abstract Submission Deadline: Monday 19th April 2010

 *   Papers can be submitted on any corpus related topic
 *   Abstracts (maximum length 300 words) plus bibliographical references
to be sent to d.a.forman at aston.ac.uk<mailto:d.a.forman at aston.ac.uk>
 *   Accepted file formats are .doc and .pdf
 *   Author's name, affiliation, and contact details to be provided in a separate attachment
 *   Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by Monday 10th May 2010
 *   Presentation length: 20 minutes
 *   Presenters will be invited to submit a 3,000-word paper to be published in the online Proceedings
    *   Keynote Speakers: to be announced

2. Symposium: Friday 25th June

After 3 highly successful events in 2007<http://acorn.aston.ac.uk/symposium/symposium07.html>, 2008<http://acorn.aston.ac.uk/Symposium08/symposium08.html>, and 2009<http://acorn.aston.ac.uk/symposium09.html>, the Aston Corpus Symposium will be held for its 4th successive year. The Symposium brings together experts in various corpus-related fields, and will be preceded by the 3rd Postgraduate Conference on Corpus Linguistics, on Thursday 24 June 2010.
