[Corpora-List] Ethical review of spoken corpus collection

Thanks very much to Geoffrey Sampson for his interesting observations about some problems with the BNC and potentially other corpora future and extant. The irony here is that even though these seem to be valid concerns, I don't see how the ethics review in force here would actually prevent them unless it simply resulted in the scuttling of an entire project. The solution seems to be attentive and thoughtful researchers who go through the data and deal remove damaging statements.
