[Corpora-List] the ebb and flow of inclusion of words in OED?

There have been OED contributors who specialized in particular
historical periods, and these may have been more heavily sampled than
others, especially if any of these overlapped with the periods that
Chris points out in his message.  See "The Professor and the Madman"
for an interesting account of one such contributor.
