Information Systems 2011, NLP Track

We welcome submissions in three streams: security and thrust, natural
language processing and tools and methods of AI. In particular, we
invite papers on various aspects of natural language processing
including, but not limited to:
·Syntax, semantics and the lexicon
·Statistical and machine learning methods
·Information extraction and text mining
·Spoken language processing and understanding
·Question answering systems
·Dialogue systems
·Text summarization
·Machine and machine-aided translation tools
·Corpus-based language processing
·Language resources development
·Evaluation methods
Important Dates:

March 23rd, 2011 - paper submission deadline
April 29, 2011 - acceptance/rejection decision due
May 16th, 2011 - submission of camera-ready abstracts (2 pages)
June 6th, 2010 - submission of camera-ready papers
June 14, 2011 - the Conference starts
Publication:
===========
The conference proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in
Lecture Notes in Computer Science
<http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-0-0-0>. and will be
available after the conference. Any necessary information concerning
typesetting can be obtained directly from Springer at Springer-Verlag page.
Paper Submission:
================
The working language of the conference is English. Authors should upload
an electronic version of the full paper (pdf and/or ps) by using the
conference paper registration and submission site (the site will be
opened in February).
Original papers 8−14 pages are solicited for S&IIS 2011.
Only the full papers will be considered for inclusion in the conference
proceedings. However, we encourage also those who do not intend to
submit a full paper but would like to present their results or their
work in progress at the conference, to submit an extended abstract.
Extended abstracts should not exceed 2 pages.
After notification of acceptance, authors will be allowed to make a
correction in accordance with the suggestions of the reviewers and
submit final camera-ready papers. The accepted papers must be presented
by one of the authors personally to be published in the conference
proceedings.
Authors of all accepted papers will be also asked to submit till May
16th 2 pages of extended abstract to be included in conference materials.
