FirstCall for Papers:
InternationalConference CORPORA2011International Conference CORPUS LINGUISTICS - 2011 (CORPORA2011) will be held in St. Petersburg, from 27th to 29th June 2011.
The conference is intended to cover a wide range of issues in corpus linguistics, of either theoretical or practical
significance. The topics of the conference encompass the representativeness of corpora, relevance of source
documents, linguistic and metalinguistic mark-up, as well as other subjects of the linguistic, programming, and
management fields in corpora making. A special area of corpus linguistics proposed for discussion is the use of
corpora in linguistic research and development of dedicated tools, primarily user-friendly corpus managers for
linguistically informed search. The speakers and other participants will be invited to review the results of the
conference at the final roundtable session.

The language of the presentations can be Russian or English.

Applicants should register their interest in attending the conference by submitting extended abstracts (1500-2000
symbols) by 10 March 2011.

Notice of acceptance will be sent to authors by 1 April 2011.

Conference registration and fee payment (50 euros): 1 May 2011 (75 euros after 1 May)

Camera-ready papers should be presented by 10 May 2011.

The Proceedings will be published by the beginning of the Conference.
