~
most (or all?) European languages can be described using chains of
[link]-[sem]-[morpho-syntactic (morphic)] triplets
~
links would be anything from simply a space to a binding prepositional phrase
~
sems are the semantic/content bearing part of expressions
~
morphics are the syntactic part coordinating syntax
~
e.g. when you say: " most European languages"
~
link: " most "
sem: "Europa"
morphic: "[a|ean>" (transformation of noun to adjective)
~
link: " "
sem: "language"
morphic: "[e|es>" (transformation of singular to plural noun)
~
Do you know of these types of language analysis (based on "triplet"
formants) as I have explained, or anything similar to it?
~
Thanks
lbrtchx
