[Corpora-List] Open PhD positions in Amsterdam

The Institute for Logic, Language and Computation currently has two 
four-year PhD positions available at the Faculty of Humanities (FGw) and 
one at the Faculty of Science (FNWI) all starting September 2011. 
Applications from excellent candidates wishing to conduct research in 
any of the areas in which ILLC is active are now invited.

Most relevant for the Corpora-list is the work of the Language and 
Computation group  (http://www.illc.uva.nl/Research/research06b.php) on 
statistical NLP, particularly parsing, machine translation and cognitive 
modeling. Depending on topic and intended supervisor the position can be 
either in the Humanities Faculty or the Science Faculty.
